Having more than one kind of vehicle in our fleet gives us flexibility. Our focus is on transportation for the disabled, and we believe in giving individual attention to the disabled passenger. However, the fare includes a friend, relative, or aide.
Or in the case of the mini bus, there are seats for as many as 8 people to accompany one or two people in wheelchairs. So the disabled person is not separated from his family. Or date and friends going to the prom.
We have both vehicles with a lift (800 pound limit) for people who prefer the option. Or fold down steel ramps which have no moving parts when in use, and also can handle greater weight, bigger wheelbases than lift platforms, and wheelchair seats wider than the posts at the top of the commercially available lifts. The drivers handle the lifts and ramps, and assist the passengers on them.
