Dear Mr. Simonsen,
I faxed you the paperwork on the two inspections of my ADA wheelchair van.
My further inquiries have led to the information that Mr. Larry Bowers, ground transportation manager at the airport, has the power to waive the mileage requirement on special transportation vehicles and control the standards for the inspections. I have written him an appeal letter, and am attaching a copy to you.
This is a very serious matter to me. There is a recession on, I am 61 years old with health issues, and the city reforms leave me wondering if I will have a business left. I am going to loose the easier to earn, good tipping runs to the taxis. And somebody new is applying for authority to do what I do right now. I have been investing my time, effort, creativity, and money to this business for almost 27 years. And am on the verge of having nothing but debt to show for it.
I would appreciate any help you can give me.
